the year of rat ended with

rat in my house!

excuse me!!! what the hell is this rat doing in my house!!!!!!!!!! >.<

hinting me on something? *better be good stuff*

so, last night my housemate came to my room knocking my door, telling me "calmly" that there's a rat in the house...

my immediate reaction was WHAT?!?! WHERE?!?! SERIOUS?!?!

then she told me where she saw it, heard it squeaking....really omg! and she is now freaking out! =D

we called neighbor to help but not in...call bf and gang to help...NO RAT in the room!!!!

so i sacrifice my piece of cheese to trap the rat on the sticky trap.....

and this morning my housemate dug me up at 830 just to see the trapped rat! OMG!

so i went back to sleep and an unknown phone call woke me up!!!

got myself ready for breakfast and the rat was squeaking like crazy!!!! ahhhhhhh

i quickly grab my cheese bread and quickly ran out for the bus...*suddenly eating rat food*

i was about to dissect it! it makes me really feel like hitting it to faint and dissect it...

BUT

too bad

my guts is just the same as the rat...

and when i enter bioinformatics class, RODENTS again!!!

omggggggggggggg

chia sin kept laughing at me!!!!!! >.<

then, by the time i came back from all my classes and work, the rat was confirmed RIP...but noone dares to take it away....

so we have our neighbor...

CNY issue

for whatever reasons i just dont like chinese new year despite the mouth watering pineapple tarts and peanut cookies...

nian gao? no thanks, i dont eat...i am now 5ft 5 although i didnt eat nian gao all these years! so what has nian gao have to do with growing taller? is just a saying...
whatever cakes or cookies dont seem appealing anyway...i hardly eat!
carbonated drinks? not interested too!
gathering with family members? yea, i do look forward to gathering with them but at least we spend in a more quality time and not quantity of time together...much of the time we spend during cny is just the quantity of time, can't really feel the real quality time together as a big family...all the time we were rushing to cook and pray...i guess cny is not about PRAYING and COOKING!

cny has been so boring all these while because we knew we are getting the same old food every year! still the same pork, chicken, fish, veg, etc...okay enough said, the food is in my mind and is putting me off soon!

in the later years, when more and more people left to somewhere else for good, we started steamboat...but still those same food is still on the list...

and for heaven sake, all the food cooked, lasted from cny eve till 2nd day of cny...!!! T.T

we prayed from cny eve till 2nd day of cny too...

sometimes my friends are happily enjoying themselves during cny really makes me envy...how can they enjoy their cny so much but not me?!

i seriously dont!

adding to that, i just realize, how i wish to celebrate cny in the real chinese culture country! i'm sure it will be god damn more fun and happy! is just like you celebrate thanksgiving in the states!

really wonder how the chinese celebrate their cny in china!!!

p/s: sorry dad, if you get mad when you read this...too bad too cz that is what i really think about it! probably is time to make a change...it is not hard to change though, is the willingness to change...

seriously i am more homesick during christmas than chinese new year...

despite the nice cny cookies and dried meat, i guess nothing much makes me look foward for chinese new year...not at all...

thanks to my family members for the good training last time, and i'm better off now...seeing so many of my friends who just came over to the states recently are badly homesick! sad..

chinese new year is just another day to me...nothing much happens...so what with those homework and exams? i used to study throughout chinese new year anyway...

but not christmas!!!! i always love christmas!!! the atmosphere is so sweet.... =)

i miss my parents and siblings a lot now...it sounded like i have not been talking to them for ages, in fact i just called them...=(

day 2 of class

i SKIPPED all with no intention..

i wasnt feeling good when i woke up...

i felt so super dizzy and felt like vomiting...

so i skip my bioinformatics and continue to rest in...

when i woke up and browse through my course for bioinformatics and is god damn difficult! =.=

anyway, i'll be fine for classes tomorrow i guess...i better be because i have long day of classes tomorrow... =)

winter break 2008

day 1 (12/30/2008)
we left Lincoln at 1030am because, Josh sent his car for check up before we travel...
after travelling for god damn dunno how many hours with strong wind and snow, encountered one almost-enter-hell moment when the car skidded and the engine went off and we didnt know what the hell happen to the car...so we pull a side for emergency break...after a while the car "woke up" and back to normal...we reached bloomington at 830!!! =.=" ordered chinese food delivery and slept early!

day 2 (12/31/2008)
first stop: MALL OF AMERICA

the snoopy land should be became LEGO land which my bf got fascinated so much... =.=

the indoor theme park by Nickelodeon...smart business people...themepark for kids, dads and grandparents; shopping for ladies...hahaha

2nd stop: IKEA

the must go place!!! the nearest IKEA to me okay!!! <3

3rd stop: Minneapolis
we went there very late and i was kinda upset cz i thought we would not make it for the countdown! so we managed to park our cars and have nice dinner for the year...

1st stop: MALL OF AMERICA again

me: dear, i wanna go take photos with the mall of america sign ok?
him: okok, we go later after lunch

then we went to the tourist information to look out for more information on st paul...
but we end up with outlet mall

2nd stop: albertville premium outlets

it was so so so huge!!! and is only about 30 minutes away from st cloud..!!!

i regretted i didnt study in st cloud now...>.< wasted such a good chance for shopping...not like lincoln!! hahaha

this is what you call shopping spree...sadly this is done by the guys...

i bought a top, a pair of jeans, 2 pairs of leggings, 1 buy one get one free shorts, a super lovely table from ikea and some random stuff only....

3rd stop: minneapolis again
we were too late for st paul so we have dinner in minneapolis after all is along the way back to bloomington...

and i found this happy new year 2009! omg omg must take with it! lol

omg! we have no gas! 5 miles later, our savior!

how's first day of class?

pretty well...

i went for 830am physics which was a 50 minute class and my beloved professor took attendance for 20 minutes, talk about the usual stuff he posted on internet for another 20 minutes and the last 10 minutes he briefly introduce the new chapter...here's not like malaysia! still got 10 minutes, ahh class ends! the professors here say, since you have already paid for it, you should not leave. =(

i kind of skipped microbiology class...why kind of?

cz i have not enroll for the class...after physics class i need to add and drop sections...enroll microbiology and bioinformatics...return genetics textbook, buy bioinformatics and microbiology textbook etc etc etc...

had my lunch and waited for the 330pm english...

went in!!

heyyyyyy...okay, lots of familiar faces, some of them were from my previous english class...and guess what 80% are from china, 10% from malaysia, 3 from korea, 1 from panama and 1 unknown cz he went into the class late....

i guess i'm having english class in china!

what have i done during the break?

practically nothing!

i wake up at 1 or 2 in the afternoon, saved a meal for breakfast... =) then computer, eat, read, sleep and the cycle keeps going on like that till 30th dec when we managed to make a trip to Minnesota...

i feel so energized now after the 2-3 weeks of nice sleep...since i've studied for 3 long semesters in 2008 i guess i deserved this good rest okay!!! =p

managed to take a pic with the snowman and it melted the next day! =(

yea, i'm reading during the holidays...i must have been gone crazy but heck, i really read story books! since i've nothing to study (don't include those text books and academic stuff) and everybody's so into TWILIGHT...i paid 11 bucks for the story book and i can read and tear or whatever, it wouldnt have cost me a lot...if i were to pay 80 bucks in malaysia for the book, i will not buy, so i will not read... =.=" that's how discouraging malaysian government can be....jacked the price sky high, force true fans to buy those cheapskate paperback books for 80 bucks, for i pay only 11 bucks here.... =D the next book cost me only 8 bucks including the tax...happy like hell but i haven't finish my 1st book yet and school is starting i guess i have to pause...i didn't really read the book everyday though cz i'm not a super reading fan! but i'm doing good, i'm finishing...

oh ya my current high addiction now is YOGURT!!! omg omg omg.... =D

i started of with 6 oz(170g) small bottle for a week and i couldn't resist anymore and i just bought a 2lb (907g) big tub!!! woohooooo....

i didn't do the mathematics there but it feels like the big tub can last me longer and can satisfy me better because i can eat and stop whenever i want...the small one once open have to finish it, and i always dont get to eat a lot cz i share *so caring right=)*

i'm really a healthy person now! *blush blush*

during school days cereals with fresh milk for breakfast, simple lunch and dinner with balanced diet....during school holidays no breakfast, simple lunch and better dinner with healthy snacks like YOGURT!!! AND gym work out!!! ahhh healthy me!!! =DDD

i thought my classes are all carefully planned and choose but last night chia sin told me that her seniors said the professor for genetics this semester is not good and give low grades...so we are changing to probably microbiology...we wanted biochemistry class but the professor replied my email and said that the class is full and overflow, she cant take in my over ride... so!!! i don't know...

there's someone going to look at my apartment unit later at 2pm...hopefully they want! so i can save my 400+bucks for not paying the penalty... =)

2009 the moo moo year

happy new year folks...okay i'm late but better than never to wish.... =D

2008 was pretty a rough year for me...i think i should go and compare my whole year to the feng shui book as predicted at the beginning of the year to see whether is true or not...

what have i done in 2008?
- slacked a lot for the 2 semesters in inti and my cgpa keep dropping because i knew i'm secured with a place in the states...what the heck! i'm giving myself too much excuses...hahaha...don't care, is over! =D
- enjoying my life to every bits in nilai!!! cz i'm missing it so badly now...
- into long distance relationship for freaking 8 months and i'm fine with it...but i'm also missing that ldr a lot....
- leave home to a further place for studies...
- got almost frozen here! =D okay i lied...not really frozen but i feel cold...
- worked in the dining hall and get my pay check every 2 weeks =D
- studied for 3 long semesters which is really not cool at all...
- getting more focused on what am i going to study? hahahaha
- visited aussie during april sem break =)
- went for studio shots
- TURN 20....
