mock debate

i just had my mock debate this morning and i was in the opposing team with siew lung and Celestine...

everything went well...

BUT!!

when it came to the evaluation part(on me)... =.=

"what do you all think about ms LAM EE WEN?! the one in gray jacket"
silence for a moment...
and SUDDENLY
Raymond shouted, "she's CHEEKY!!!"
"erm in what sense, sir"
"she smiles all the way through"
"HAHA! she's not only smiling for this assignment, she has been smiling since the day she enters the class...she's flashing her teeth every class even in the classroom speech...she's as if flirting with her smiles!!!" *omg*
people starts jumping in...
"it's good to smile a lot"

bla...lots of it...and continue debating that i smile too much and some say is good...i was laughing non stop*banging tables with my head*
then siew lung jumped in and said "SIR, I THINK WE SHOULD HAVE A DEBATE ON WHETHER TO SMILE OR NOT TO SMILE"

and then when they evaluate on Celestine...
"sir, he needs to smile more! he's scaring his opponent away!"

everyone just burst into laughter

and so...another semester it is...once again course advising for us...

which uni do you prefer? the ranked ones? the expensives ones?
AFFORDABLE WILL DO! ranking doesn't matter much...

st cloud still my top choice for biomedical/medical tech...
winona state uni offers medical tech...
north dakota offers biotech...
west coast has forensics (gonna b a big bomb)

in the end?! left undecided!

funniest thing is st cloud requires biology 1 n 2, physics 1 n 2, chemistry 1 n 2, which INTI offers...others i've got to do it in st cloud...not even statistics i can do it in INTI...n i need 24 hrs electives...what can i do the next semester? bio 2 and ??? calculus 2 wasn't stated in the study plan...sounded as if st cloud is a money sucking school cz i cant do many subjects here, mostly i've to do it there... =.=

after this semester, i've cleared biology 1, chemistry 1 n 2...left physics 1 n 2 to be cleared other than biology 2...which means? can i fly asap? haha...

friendly match 07052007

we had a friendly match with nilai international college...sounds friendly but it wasn't all that friendly though cz I WAS THE ONLY GIRL lah...made me so sad...

partnered coach against a Vietnamese and Indian from India...we obviously won cz I'm partnering coach...hee... XD

after that coach brought us to Mantin for durian feast... aww...i'm not a durian lover...!!! no choice but to eat (give face ma) but we get to taste from the lowest grade to the highest grade!! =) altogether we had 8 durians, 2 bunch of mangosteens...wahaha....

after that only we head for dinner at 10pm...coach ordered sweet and sour fish, great 4 and a veg soup...great 4 consists of long beans, 4 sided beans, cant rmb the other bean and PETAI(dunno what is it called)!! omg....no choice but to eat too...

dad and mum, you both must thank my coach and yon soon that they have trained me to eat bitter gourd, durian and petai...and cheow as well that i've ate brinjals...HAHAHAHA.....

fyi, i never touch go near such food!!! just because out of no choice and to give face and also want to act cool, showing that i eat whatever on earth, closed my eyes, squeezing my nose tight and open my mouth widely and dumped it in and swallow as fast as i could!! haha *exaggerating* durian is ok-lah...petai is not too bad...brinjals still a little unacceptable...bitter gourd slowly getting the hang of it, eating it more each time we go to kopitiam nilai for dinner...

4th of july

publicizing event week: "4th of July, American independence day, next wed, 7-11pm, at the car park beside the volleyball court, got a lot of lengzai, got a lot of leng lui, got a lot of food and also got fireworks"
"did you all notice our booth in sao concourse? come and get ur tickets there"

preparing for real radio dj assignment: "I'll have to make it end early or else miss lam ee wen will be very upset because she cant prepare for her American independence day. I've been seeing her sitting in the concourse for the past whole week promoting this event" said MR SIVA, MY PUBLIC SPEAKING LECTURER...

isshh!! is not that i want to...no choice to promote...without publicity, how can we get participants? how can we make this event a SUCCESS???

yes! we made it! it was really successful...after all the meetings, practices, gatherings, preparations, yelling and shouting, publicizing the event over and over again in sao concourse and even during my radio dj mock practices...we made it a most wonderful event in aup club..!!! compliments from all our officers, dr.sia, ms janice, ms dot and many more...thank you for all your support!!! thank you to all participants who support our event too...thanks to our committee, we did a great job though lots of ups and downs!! woohoo... worth celebrating!! god has listened to our prayers for the past whole week, praying hard that it wont rain...true enough, IT RAINED AFTER OUR EVENT, at 4 am!!! thank god!!!! =)
