just as i thought it will be an aweSOME trip but it turned out to be an awFUL trip

i awfully got SICK T.T

i threw out twice and ran for toilet uncountable times

i guess is either food poisoning, overeating or indigestion...neither one of them is good!!!

was like a total sick cat and i do not get to visit ISU... isshh


the only place i went was the lake...hahahaha....probably because UNL doesnt have one so i stayed at the lake....


no strength to walk =(

some nice places in the campus but i dont know where >.<

i suppose this is in their aerospace building....

ignore them, assume is me =)

what a trip!!! i slept for almost 18 hours in total from yesterday till today...hohoho

yes indeed i cut my finger AGAIN like i've mentioned before...

then i quickly went to the bathroom (my housemate and her friend was at the kitchen sink + they just praised me for cutting the vegetables so nice and neat, the next minute i cut my finger, can imagine how embarass right, of cz go to the bathroom) to run under warm water.....after 5 minutes, it didnt bleed much...

how do i know i should run under warm water?

cz i cut my finger BEFORE! for goodness sake....the very super duper deep cut that i would think that i can die of losing much blood...okay, i'm a noob biologist....losing blood from my finger can cause death!!! hahahahhaha

then i went to see the nurse and she thought me this cool skill....i remember it so that it will be useful in future in case of ACCIDENT

and i didnt know the future in case of accident was so soon to happen... =.="

i'm wondering is there any classes offering HOW TO CUT FOOD AND NOT FINGER...if there is one please enrol me into that class...

anti-oven

due to the disaster i've made and caused the whole staircase in my apartment building smells like my burnt cookies for hours, i decided to not use oven for the TIME BEING =p

so i ended up making SUSHI!!!

recipe is as below from Japanese Recipe

Ingredients:

• 3 cups Japanese rice
• 3 1/4 cups water
• 1/3 cup rice vinegar
• 3 Tbsp sugar
• 1 tsp salt

Preparation:

After washing and soaking Japanese rice, cook and let it steam.
Prepare sushi vinegar (sushi-zu) by mixing rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a sauce pan. Put the pan on low heat and heat until the sugar dissolves. Cool the vinegar mixture.
Spread the hot steamed rice into a large plate or a large bowl. Please use a non-metallic bowl to prevent any interaction with rice vinegar. It's best to use a wooden bowl called sushi-oke. Sprinkle the vinegar mixture over the rice and fold the rice by shamoji (rice spatula) quickly. Be careful not to smash the rice.
To cool and remove the moisture of the rice well, use a fan as you mix sushi rice. This will give sushi rice a shiny look. It's best to use sushi rice right away.

Makes 4-6 servings.

small note: the part where you need to dissolve the sugar in pan, i put in a bowl and microwave it because it says it will react with metal bowls, i assume pans will react too....

pen and papers

it has been sometime since the last time i really sit down on my desk doing my homework with pen and paper...

that's sometime last year i think but that need not to be submitted!

so i have to go back even another semester...

that will sum up to august 2008 with calculus 2 and organic chem 2....definitely no computer job...

and now i'm here sitting in front of my desk (ignore the current moment that i'm blogging!!) holding up my pen, scribbling some figures and pen some lines of nonsense in my lab notebook....

the feeling is just

great

i dont know why but i just love to read or write on papers!

if an environmental friendly person ever sees this, he/she might just behead me or skinned me alive because i need to cut down more trees and lead to deforestation and climate change, yada yada yada (fyi, i just wrote a paper on deforestation) ahhahaha

but still

i just like the feel of touching PAPERS!

i prefer reading newspapers than reading online
i prefer printing out the silly assignment questions to read from papers than facing the square box for hours to read the questions and answer online
i would fall asleep reading pages long of research papers from the computer...adding to that i hate adobe reader right into my bones because i cant add notes beside it or i cant highlight it! that's the dumbest thing...
oh wait, is there such function that i haven't discover...if there is please tell me so...
but i doubt there is!! hahahahahaha

so if my astigmatism or short sighted or whatever increases and needs better corrective lens, blame the digital world and for the people who are lazy to use papers....

oh wait back to topic

actually after much crapping, i just want to say i love to write on papers for my assignments....

i adore my handwriting

so the more i write the more i can admire my handwriting!!!

actually i didnt want to but i had no choice though....

my 1st set of bed sheet was in my laundry basket waiting for more clothes so that can wash together...so while waiting

2nd set of bed sheet (just used a week), needed to be washed too!!! >.< because my housemate told me that there's bed bugs attacking her and might also attack me...to be safe so i had to wash!!!!

so this morning i purposely wake up at 8 to take up all the 3 washing machines (next building because is a quarter cheaper for each wash) hahahaha

in fact, dont think that i'm that evil although i really wanted to use the cheap washing machine...i woke up early because i need to go out for my course advising

i thought it was at 10 so i went out at freaking 930am!!! and i was told that my advising hour is at 1030am....dumb ass!! why did you call to reschedule my appointment when i'm still sleeping!!!! see this is what happens now...getting the wrong information.... >.<

came back i threw all my laundry for drying at the cheap dryer in the next building too...

came back to tidy my room a bit...cook lunch and get my dry and soft and smells good laundry.....

then i rushed out for work...like so semangat ehhh

ahhahaha

i grew bacteria, i grew even more...and i kept growing bacteria for the 4 hrs today in the lab =.="

then i went to Walgreens to get my pesticides to kill the potential alive bed bugs.... lolzzz but i ended up with this...
