package of 3

i actually didnt know if you called for emergency, it comes in a package to reach out to you!

the package consists of:-

fire brigade

medical team (ambulance)

and the police team

i came to know bout this package thingy cz some dramatic stuff (more like real life ER scene) happened right in front of my eyes!

so after biochem class, as usual we walked to henzlik hall for genetics cz we have 45 mins break and of course no SNOW...

then a fire engine tuned on the siren, kept honking and rushing...we were trying to be busybody to see where will it go!!! it turned left heading to henzlik hall...

and then STOPPED!!

right outside henzlik hall...

hmm.......

we were thinking that class might cancel due to FIRE!!! see, the first impression of fire engine! at least i think of fire instead of SNAKES cz firemen in malaysia always catch snakes! ahha

then another siren...the police....

and another siren...the ambulance!!

the firemen took their bags of gadgets into the building while the ambulance and police are still squeezing their way through...

we were then closer to the building...we seriously have no intention to be a busy body though, just happened that we have classes there...so yea... :)

the medical team came down with a stretcher!

wahh...we seriously thought it was fire or something! so happy!

BUT

when we arrived the building, it was so PEACEFUL!!

nobody running out from building, no smoke, no alarm, NOTHING!

but none of the firemen/medical team/policeman was in sight!

how weird!!

then the firemen came out with their bags, with no sweat, as if no efforts of saving lives..haha

the one and only policeman came out from the lift, followed by the medical team pushing the stretcher out, with a man lying weakly with the oxygen mask on him...

so they left the building...

and that is how i come to know about the package of 3!

whenever there's an emergency case, all 3 will be there to SAVE you! no wonder i hear siren non stop in the middle of the night! especially during 12-2am "peak hours"...how crappy!

it makes it as though lincoln is really that busy! haha

i somehow agree with this because even if the ambulance could not be there yet, the firemen could have do something to relieve the people in need although the sirens are indeed ANNOYING!

moral of the story: DO NOT PLAY PRANKS WITH EMERGENCY PHONES! the package of 3 will be there in MINUTES! :D

labor weekend

thu i went for 1/2 hr squash - body aches a little

fri i went for numsa AGM

sat i went for 3 hr tennis - body aches like crazy

sun i went for state fair - walking even more blocks away from home...body aches till the max point

i felt like my muscles are tearing especially the shoulders! :(

after all I HAD FUN...

okay serious matters start tonight!

i have physiology - renal system

i have genetics - chapter 2 n 3

i have biochem - all cz i dont know a thing!

i need more time! or else i dont have time to PLAY and STUDY

state fair is ...

okay i dont know...i only knew there was a state fair in Lincoln (actually in every state)...

oh wait, there you go ... state fair

so yea i went this year because, this year will be last year for bf to go and also is labor weekend!!! :)

i went online to check for the state fair in Lincoln and i saw HELICOPTER RIDE!! made me more anticipated in walking there even if there's no car!

walked round and round in the state fair park and this is what we actually found

what a HUGE ASS DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! the only HELICOPTER RIDE in the fair..!!! i thought i could go up to the sky!!!!!!!!

DARN IT....sobsob

since we were quite disappointed with the so called HELICOPTER RIDE, we went for lunch

and because of the sampa-ness in me, staying in NEBRASKA for 1 year, having not know what a CORN DOG is...i got myself a corn dog! haha...is corn coated hot dog! wasn't that bad!

i guess there's just too much corn in NEBRASKA! haha

we didnt buy this cz is 8 bucks for a leg...so yea...take a shot for fun!

lately

i've been cooking quite often lately which is SUPPOSED to be and not eating those "disgusting" (at least to me) vietnamese noodles...

yay!

so i boiled nice soupsss, prepare weird dishes

i cooked scallop porridge to replace the roasted pig bone porridge they cook at home :(

i boiled 清补汤 to feel more at home cz i'm a pure cantonese which i barely survive without SOUP

i mashed potatoes to replace rice because i bought a 5lb packet of potatoes and i need to finish it before the shoots grow...zzz

i made sandwiches cz that's what for lunch when i'm home! XD

i boiled ABC soup again because i just feel like drinking more soup :)

i fried snow peas, lady's fingers, broccoli in cheese sauce etc etc etc....

and yea haagen dazs ice cream cz i couldnt resist it...

so the main point here is I'VE GAIN WEIGHT

darn it... :(

i'll love you more if you say i look cute when i get more rounded :p
