Happy moon cake festival…

Happy eating that new funny invention of moon cake flavours! To those who didn’t get to eat moon cakes, don’t worry cz I myself have not eaten one yet! (I’m actually waiting for my aunt to make the jelly-like moon cakes for me! Too bad, ziyen says no courier service available…)

this is so temptating!! =( my cousin finished it all...

finally i've found my one and only miserable mooncake from TESCO..haha

Oh well, what’s the real meaning of this festival, I’m not very sure too. Anyway, who bothers?! I’m not an educationist or whoever that needs to educate new bunch of people. I maybe a mum of one or two kids but hopefully they don’t ask me! If not the answer that they will get from me is, “go ask your great-grandma, don’t think grandma knows too”… “Perhaps grandpa of yours maybe able to answer you” Haha…

it says, "wishing everybody happy moon cake festival"

*****end of moon cakes*****

Okay, surprisingly last night I was in my mood to study again! And so I took my sister’s US textbook as reference. I bumped into this topic called Mechanism of homeostasis! It sounds something like…

…“when someone kisses you, for example, there is a change in pressure on your lips. Receptors in the skin of your lips translate stimulus into a signal that can be sent to the brain”…

…“the response may include flushing with pleasure and kissing back. Of course, you cannot engage in a kiss indefinitely, for this would prevent you from eating and carrying out other activities necessary to maintain operating conditions inside your body”…

Compared to my Cambridge textbook from the college that I’m having, the example given sounds something like…

…“controlling the composition of blood”…

Conclusion: US textbooks’ examples are much more interesting than the UK textbooks. At least they don’t use composition of blood as example. Haha…

After some time, I began to get restless again. So I picked up my hp and started to play ‘snake’. C’mon don’t you look down on this stupid + boring game, I’ve learnt something from there too!

Greedy= suicide situation [the snake coiled his head round]

Sleepy= “long piak” [unaware of the other part of the snake’s body]

Application on daily life…

If I’m greedy to swallow down every line of words in the textbook like xxx (name changed), I’ll be ended up like the snake, committing suicide; with my half awake brain, I’ll ended up studying nothing

Conclusion: Study how much your brain can store when you are fully awake. Don’t force yourself to swallow everything.

Okay, enough of all these… Hehe… Back to my books again… Oh no!
