modeling?! (part 2)

oh yea... the continuation of the modeling post...  as I thought that post will be everything
about the modeling issue but it doesn't seem to be the last post for it yet!
The follow ups of the email my friend replied... 

hey, are u sure u wanna back out? if u really are sure then i wun stop u. 
but just to let u know, 20,000 ppl is just the expected crowd for the 
whole 12 hours of the event, and i'm not sure if there really are gonna be 
that many. even if there are gonna be 20,000 ppl, they wun all be there at
once. the place will FLOOD i tell u! its a pretty small and tight location, 
even more so with stuff like extreme sports and paint ball taking up so much 
space. u know exactly where it is right? its the small street opposite 
ENO hotel, the road with bars along it(which will be closed on that day,btw)
however, there MIGHT be a chance that 8TV will be filming a bit... not 
confirmed yet on that but that's what DIGI told my leader. nevertheless 
that's not a big deal to worry about.
oh yea, experience for modeling is of no importance whatsoever for this 
particular fashion show, haha. the other models are around our age with 
no experience either. after all, this event is for youth to express themselves 
and have fun. nothing serious and definitely no professional models 
competing. but if u really wanna get some tips, i can let u watch an episode 
of britain's next top model which shows a technique to learning the 'classic 
walk'. Most of all, i think, for this particular kind of youth fashion show, 
what is most important is confidence. i assume not many youth can tell a 
professional walk from a walk that is confident anyway.. as long as ur 
confident, you'll definitely look great up there.
as u know there will be 10 guys and 10 girls. the prizes? 10 Swatch watches 
are to be given away to the 10 winners. pretty cool yea? last of all, about 
ur outfit, u can let me know which watch u were considering and mayb show me 
ur bottom... u never know, mayb i can help u find something suitable? er 
well, i can't guarantee finding it for u but i really dun mind helping u 
out. remember, the whole thing is just for fun and for the experience. a 
chance to model doesn't really come around often does it? especially one 
from DIGI. haha... you never know, maybe from taking part u may increase ur 
self esteem and learn a thing or two about modeling. i know i sure did from 
last year's graduation dinner. it's tough and takes quite some effort to put 
together an outfit but in the end, even tho i din win, it was 
definitely a great learning experience and it was SO FUN! haha...
anyway u just think about it lah.. if u really dun want to then its ok. 
just drop by with some friends to play paint ball at least! hahah... its 
ALMOST free u know. :P see u!

I felt so indecisive to continue joining or not… really couldn’t close my eyes and have a good night rest last night… this morning I showed mum bout the email and she said, “Personally, I think you should have a try.” *?!?!* Okay…but my outfit?! After discussing for sometime, I asked my sis…

“If u were given a chance to go for a fashion show or modeling will u go?”
*no doubts* “go la”
“Go??!!”
“Wahl no need to think meh?”
“Eh, jie ar, is 20k of people gathering around that area k!! And there won’t be anyone to teach you how to go about it. U just got to find your way out to finish that show… some more got to provide your own outfit and I don’t have one yet…they just want you to model for their swatch watches only”
“WHAT?!” “Swatch?!”
“KL?”
“No pg”
“Eh I thought u going kl d”
“This is this sat, I’m going next sat”
"So how?!”
After long discussion with my sis, telling me what to wear to match that watch and stuff…I still didn’t make a confirm answer of going…
“Eh jie, should I tell my friend yes or no?”
“Up to u la”
“I’ll ask dad n see”
“Up to u”
Grrrr…… :{

I asked my friend, she said yes too… argh… will I regret if I take a yes?

Almost 12 hours after I read the email, thought over and over about it.

Mum just wanted to make me happy so i won't regret, she said, “if you don’t try now/this year, when are you going to join? At my age? After all you are leaving soon, just go and have fun before you leave!” =S

- The words from the email and support from mum n sis and all my friends

I really don’t know is it a good or bad decision. Just trying my luck *smirk*
