O.O
don't have to open your eyes so big!!
i'm working for 2 days only...i mean cheap labor...how cheap? very cheap...rm3.50 an hour...
organic chem lecturer asked us to help him to wash the glassware after a levels finished their exams yesterday and today(the left overs)...of cz we went for it!! money ok....!!! not that the amount of money we are looking at but the experience we gain from the chemistry lab preparation room...how many students get to enter there??? =)
so on thursday we started working at 9...he briefed us with the steps...then we get to do a trial with the leftover apparatus not washed by the lab assistants...go through all the steps...then we waited for the a levels student to finish their exams...
by the time the 1st badge of students finish their practical exams, the pails and basins of apparatus were lining up waiting for us tobreak wash...the challenge was there...all the steps got jumbled up...haha...the pails were full, the sinks were not enough, the racks were full, the heating oven was full...more and more to wash...great learning process... =)
then after we settled almost all the beakers(250mL, 150mL, 100mL), measuring cylinder, Erlenmeyer flask also known as conical flask (big ones medium ones small ones, too many d...) then we waited for the next badge but i went for psycho class from 1215-120...then quickly run back to continue...
at 2 we stopped for his class but he gave us 20 mins break for lunch... =) damn happy...
that's all for the 1st day...cant get a pic of us working cz hands were wet whole day long... *need lotion bath d*
today we went again to wash test tubes...started work at12 1220...we washed all the test tubes and boiling tubes total of 5 pails to be exact is 934 pieces... O.O that's insane...!!! we finished by 3...same procedure...rinse, soak in industrial detergent, fish it out from the pails, brush, rinse, drip dry, oven dry, keep...then continue with the reagent bottles...

in the end i've worked for 7 hrs...7 *3.50= 24.5...
i've bought a pair shades worth 29!!

big part of it sponsored by my pay...can imagine how happy am i??? *bouncing*
and of cz I DIDN'T BREAK ANY GLASSWARE!!! i'm gentle... =) right, bf? haha
