i'm indeed bored...
next exams is on 4th May with 2 papers a day...and i just had one today, so i decided to procrastinate for today(night)
gahhhh whatever...
so i had the mood to cook dinner today =)
and yea i came out with my tomato prawns and some random fry pork
it turned out to be
awesome....
2 dishes 1 soup, not bad right? *pats self*has been a while since i had prawns because *you know* i'm in the middle of nowhere!
seafood will never be fresh but heck, who cares! i miss eating fish and prawnsssss
and i suddenly realize i've been into the kitchen pretty often
i used to remember how mum yelled and dragged my ass into the kitchen just to *uhm* cut the veg? or hold the "wok chan" to give a few fry...i dont even have to add seasoning, just stand there, facing the heat and flame to stir few rounds only! but i was so reluctant to step into the kitchen as if the kitchen was my worst enemy! i am scared of fire *wtf, sounds so untrue, but too true to be true though...* and also knife (if you have read my blog enough, yes, you'll know how many times i've cut my fingers)
but then
what am i doing now?
- boiling heart-melting warm ginseng chicken soup that bf wanted a second serving even before he finishes his first bowl
love from home (see the baby scallops? =D) <3- cooking meals for myself and my housemate
- holding big knives, chopper i mean (the ones used by butcher)
- baking cookies and cakes
- trying new recipes every holidays
so yea, what's the big deal of boiling soup? throw the herbs and the chicken only, slow cooker will do the cooking, i dont have to keep an eye of the fire....
the point is i have the will power to get up from my bed to prepare my soup! i've never boiled soup before i step into US, not even once (exclude mushroom cream soup or red bean soup)
now i have heart-melting soup once in a while
yada yada yada
okay i know i'm crapping, ignore me for being so free (there's homework but lazy to do)
the main point here is, i can cook, i can clean the house, i'm a potential good housewife!
any sick old rich man wants me? =)
random stuff
this packet of noodles was introduced by my friend from penang, saying that this is the closest hokkien mee we can get in US...so i bought, 3.50 for 5 packets only k! so expensive =(the 1st time i made was awful!!! i almost threw it away! i had this random thought that maybe they knew we eat this hokkien mee because we cant get the real one...and normally we will take photos of it to show our parents how lucky we were to get hokkien mee even in the US....so the color was perfectly matched with the one served back home...as long as is red chilli oil, it is not far away from the original look though!

then i kinda boycott this noodles but i have 4 packets left...so i gave it a second try...
omg!!! it was so niceeeeeeeeeeeee.....
so, what happen to my 1st trial?
did i even fail to cook a packet of instant noodle?
but hey! if you are a sick old rich man, dont worry, i wont feed you with instant noodles! so please marry me and give me your wealth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =DDDDDDDDDDDDD
heeeeee XD
okay, lame, you just have to ignore me! sorry for wasting your time to read my nonsense
so goodnight...toodles!
xoxo
