after resting/growing mold/growing mushroom/rot for about a month, i finally found something to do, else perhaps campbell can come and collect mushrooms for me to make more cream soup for my next semester...
yea i'm currently working in my friend's office for the 2 months before i head back to the states and working life is definitely not a perfect life despite the fact that we get pay and can go for more shopping!
i've realize many things throughout the 2-3 weeks here though i'm playing bejeweled and blogging but get paid...that's beside the point
main point is that i realized what i really wanted to do in my future job...
since i've worked before in the dining hall (dish room, food line, checker), lab work, office work and meeting clients to get sales
dining hall makes me physically exhausted after hours in there because you just follow the way you are told.... stack stack stack the bowls, plate, pans! that's it...mind relaxing job! i'm still able to do some homework or readings though muscles ache....but working in the lab makes me mentally drained! after hours in the lab, concentrating on the bacteria, counting the concentration of my copper to kill them *evil laugh*, and many others, felt like i just went for another class! yet i still have to complete my homework and cook meals, more challenging :( haha
anyway i managed to balance with both work and school.. :)
unlike working in the office facing the computer and 4 walls all day long...feeling very unproductive...in this case, my friend's bro's office which is a new one, i'm the only employee :'(
meeting clients is physically and mentally exhausted after driving in and out, up and down...
however,
comparatively among these 4 jobs i still like my lab work the most though i do not have many friends as the lab has only 4 of us (professor, christophe, andrea and myself), by the time i'm back to the states, there is only 3 of us left (andrea is back to german) :( christophe is really a good boss, i realize and i appreciate now :) (if he sees this he will be darn happy! haha)
not surprise that some scientists are like those mad scientists we see in the cartoon because the poeple they meet are few, the minutes they talk to others are even less and they spent most of their time experimenting to get new and better results....the question is, without scientist, do i get to see in the dark if i dont have a candle?
mad scientist smiling
hahaha....too bad i love that! i'm still thinking of my cancer research (havent decide on which cancer to go into yet) if i'm going to grad school! i guess i'm gonna love that but mum suggested me to study about skin because nowadays women can't be less vain! =D i shall think again... =)
anyway, i also actually kinda like sales though i kinda screwed up my 1st time...haha...but i like to go out to meet people and listen to their stories....they gave me more ideas about the working world....and i also learned that when there's more questions bombarded towards you, they are more keen to know more about you! i hate being bombarded with so many questions but turn around they seem to be keen to know more about my product! how cool
more or less, now i know a little bit more bout working with more mature people! :)
more to learn...
BUT studying life is still the best. seriously.
working people work even if i'm on summer or winter break! how cool... =p
