everytime ...

i enter the kitchen, i'll think of the guiding moments during high school...

i dont see any relation but still somehow those moments flashed back...

they were not as sweet as i thought, they were not as bitter as it could be...

but seriously...

i've learnt practically nothing from there except

politics...

politics during schooling...cool eyy!!

not at all...

i always wonder what have i learnt during my 5 years in guides...

cooking skills?!
oh c'mon! i started learning how to cook after i left school and getting better when i'm in US...i've never never like the wok and spatula...
and yes, now i love the every bits of cooking not because i've learn that in guiding days
not all guides who have completed 5 years of guiding days know how to cook anyway... =.="

sewing skills?!
don't think i learn that in guides

surviving skills?!
LMAO! go to camps but MUST leave in the middle of the night! =.="
OBS is so much greater with more awesome people :)

leadership skills?!
haha! i wonder...probably yea during my 2 years of being a patrol leader...
sorry still OBS makes me a better person

marching skills?!
of cz i learned that! but what's the point?! do i have to walk like a military?

painting skills?!
like drawing big banners and announce to the world that's my art work...big and eye catching...but only for display like maximum of few days and out of sight, out of mind?!
furthermore, spent much money to buy paint and cloth...

knotting skills?!
like knowing how to tie a figure of 8? LOL...how often do i tie that knot?

building gadgets?!
i'm now lucky enough to stay in sheltered homes :)

seriously nothing except making a few more friends...

i guess that's a sad case...

to what am i now, i dont think my guiding days turned me to a "better" person...
but my OBS camp days do...

should i enroll for the 25-day course?!
:)

i guess even if you ask a king scout/queen guide, what they used to do to get their award is practical to what they do now?
probably 50% works...
i dont know...i'm not one...

*no offense to anybody though*
