will be missing in action for a week
i'm dead serious...
i have 3 cumulative finals next week and i havent started on any!
will start my hardcore study today
god bless me!
may 3rd before 5.00pm due multicultural ed portfolio
may 4th 3.30-5.30pm- ecology and evolution
may 6th 1.00-3.00pm- genetics lab
may 7th 7.00-9.00am- biochem
then i will be done for the semester
and off to chicago on the 12th!!!
having quite a while of dilemma thinking to PAY for the price for comfort (by air) or to "PAY" for the comfort for the price (by bus)
By Air (round trip):
Lincoln-Chicago (1 1/2 hours ride) - $354
Omaha-Chicago (1+ hr + 1 hr omaha-lincoln) $224 + $100 (omaha-lincoln shuttle) = $324
By Bus (round trip):
Lincoln-Chicago (11-12hrs ride) $186
michelle lam is a poor student...so the budget for transportation max could only allow $200
:(
which left with only the bus option...
but there's something call BID!
i could have bid for air tickets BUT i have a risk
i wont get good timings...
so....
if i bid i have to risk to reach chicago way too early or way too late, that's what you get from bids and you dont get to change timings since you key in your credit card details before you can even see the time they give you..once you get, you get it!
then when i come back, i definitely cannot choose the flights on the 15th, what if it's in the morning of 15th? or afternoon? then i would not be able to attend the commencement!!! T.T
so not to have so much risk else i will have heart attack, i chose the flights on the 16th!
which means, i have to camp at the airport for a night!
nice?
but whatever, the main point is
i only have to pay $194 to fly from lincoln-chicago!
$194 (by air) vs $186 (by bus)
tell me how not to be HAPPY!!!! :)
i've managed to save $160 from $354!!! it's freaking 45%!!! o.o
i should have gone down a little lower to try my luck though...
BUT it doesnt matter now, it's below my budget, i get quite good timings, and i am confirm going there!
deep dish pizza!!! and of cz purdue uni for the commencement!!!!!!!!
:) :) :)
