my almost perfect bio expt! yay.. =)

latest update.. =) =p XD

Oh yea! I’m back in action again! Well, for the past few weeks since my last blog, many things had happened. Happy ones, sad ones, the get-on-my-nerves ones n etc. Yea, when I have things to blog, it will be a l-o-n-g one, or else I’ve got nothing to blog, not even a short one.

Lately, I’ve realised that my hand phone has been silent for days or maybe weeks. *is not in silent mode!* Even if there are incoming messages, is either from hotlink or some exam wishes messages from one or two of my friends; no missed calls, neither have I received calls. My hand phone has never been that quiet. *weird* =S but then claps for my credit! Woohoo!! XD

Some babi-ness things happened too. If you wanna know more, ask me personally, I won’t be blogging bout it here. Seriously BABI-ness makes people get on their nerves! Isshh!!! Just hoping there won’t be anymore babi-ness stuff happening again. Or else I’ll just screw any of the BABIs up! LoL…guess there’s too much of Andrew’s babi, everything just goes “babi”! *bglp* keke

Last Friday, I went for a barbeque steamboat dinner at Nagore Road with the group of Disted tennis players, SRCs and Star Scholarship holders.
“Is an eat-all-you-can dinner”
“Really?! Great!”
Yay! Food! The food there was not really fantastic but then is good enough to fill my empty stomach. Anyway, I enjoyed barbequing and eating at the same time. If I’m not mistaken I ate fish, prawns, pandan chicken, marinated chicken meat and fish balls, all in almost 3 plates. It was
really a wonderful night. =) =p XD

In the car, when we left the place with Jo n Wei Khee…
Jo was like…
“Ee wen, you can really eat huh.”
“Yea but xxx (name changed, cz I dunno how to spell her name, she’s not fr
om my course anyway) is better. I’ve already stopped while she’s still eating”
“Haha yea. She’s really great. No wonder her bf is that size, not bcz he has to finish her food but to accompany her to eat. *aww, how could u say such things like that, so bad!* And I’ll really pity your bf next time, he has to keep ordering food if not you won’t get satisfied, and it’s gonna cost him a big bomb too”
*laughing to myself* “Well, places like here, or any buffet style suits me well, so no worries!”

“Haha, cham la you”
Well, if he doesn’t want to pay for my food, I’ll pay for it then! Si
mple as that...DUH!!

---Okay, shocking news coming in!---

*ta ta ta der*

I’m learning knitting! Oh yea…I’m serious! *wink*
When I told my sis bout it…

“Sis, I’ve got a piece of shocking news for you”

“What?”
“I’m learning knitting”
“Oh no!!!”
“Why oh no?”
“The world is changing!”

“Isshh!!”

Yea, this will be the last thing she would expect me to do. She knew I never like all this girlish stuff. I mean as in sewing or whatever it is called that requires my PATIENCE and my artistic skills. I’m really sucked at it. I couldn’t believe that I’ve this sudden crave too. And I’m learning it for the 3rd day today. *claps* =) =p XD

A friend of mine was like…
“Ehh, not bad…You gain extra points in guys’ heart when you say you know how to knit”
“Haha, yea…not only guys’ though. Even girls are envy at those who knows how to knit, like my sis’s friends.”

Actually, knitting is really testing out my patience. Is not easy to begin this new skill. I kept on failing when I have to start a new row. The thread always slips out from the needle and I’ve got problem in putting it back. Again I see stars. =(
I’m stuck now! Sifu is off today… :’(

hard work..effort..time..
that's where i'm stuck at.. *sighs*
the few rows of my ever 1st piece of hand-knitted vest..

Sad ones… -> my finals

Oh yea. Finals have officially started with Biology P5 and I flunk that paper! I went in blur blur and came out blur blur. Yea, I’m again seeing stars in there! Before that paper starts, the 10 of us had to go for a quarantine, just to prevent exam questions from leaking. Inside the quarantine room is only 4 walls with few tables and chairs; no hand phones allowed but only allow bringing in food, drinks and books. That was only 1hr 15 mins. On Tue (17th Oct), Chemistry P3 has 4 groups and I’m so “lucky” to be in the 4th group whereby my quarantine time is from 12-3.15pm (3hrs 15 mins), more than enough time for me to grow mushrooms, ginsengs and fungus after reading my notes and also Joshua’s newspapers. And there are people escorting the candidates one by one to the toilet. So ridiculous! C’mon la, we all are from the same room, if we can talk among ourselves in the quarantine room, obviously we can talk in the toilet right? Wasting time waiting for one and the other to come and go, why not just let all go at one time so that the human traffic could be solved. DUH! Haihz, more quarantines to come! Oct is mostly on practical papers and both my AS and A2 Pure Maths. All the other theory papers will be in Nov. 13 papers to go! =(

Haha, did you all notice that I’m learning during exam period? Yea, I was hell too bored…

My friend was like…
“I thought you said you are trying your best in your finals? Why are you still learning knitting at this time?”
“Yea, I’m trying my best and I’m still trying” “I’m just too bored and don’t know what else can I do except looking at the pile of ‘sleeping pills’”

Bro went to Switzerland to work, extended his stay there. Yay! I get to use the car for almost 2 weeks! Practically I’m enjoying almost everyday except on the babiness day! I even had talks with mum. Listening to mum’s stories, experience…Made me laugh although mum was furious over somebody…Haha…Gonna miss such mother-daughter’s talk soon. Mum asked me to call her whenever I’m bored. MUM! WHY NOT YOU CALL ME? IS EXPENSIVE FOR A PREPAID USER CALLING BACK HOME! Bluek…: p

My so called didi knows how to talk! *claps* He's not even 1!! keke... mum x2, mum x2...... all the way asking for food...

Happy moon cake festival…

Happy eating that new funny invention of moon cake flavours! To those who didn’t get to eat moon cakes, don’t worry cz I myself have not eaten one yet! (I’m actually waiting for my aunt to make the jelly-like moon cakes for me! Too bad, ziyen says no courier service available…)

this is so temptating!! =( my cousin finished it all...

finally i've found my one and only miserable mooncake from TESCO..haha

Oh well, what’s the real meaning of this festival, I’m not very sure too. Anyway, who bothers?! I’m not an educationist or whoever that needs to educate new bunch of people. I maybe a mum of one or two kids but hopefully they don’t ask me! If not the answer that they will get from me is, “go ask your great-grandma, don’t think grandma knows too”… “Perhaps grandpa of yours maybe able to answer you” Haha…

it says, "wishing everybody happy moon cake festival"

*****end of moon cakes*****

Okay, surprisingly last night I was in my mood to study again! And so I took my sister’s US textbook as reference. I bumped into this topic called Mechanism of homeostasis! It sounds something like…

…“when someone kisses you, for example, there is a change in pressure on your lips. Receptors in the skin of your lips translate stimulus into a signal that can be sent to the brain”…

…“the response may include flushing with pleasure and kissing back. Of course, you cannot engage in a kiss indefinitely, for this would prevent you from eating and carrying out other activities necessary to maintain operating conditions inside your body”…

Compared to my Cambridge textbook from the college that I’m having, the example given sounds something like…

…“controlling the composition of blood”…

Conclusion: US textbooks’ examples are much more interesting than the UK textbooks. At least they don’t use composition of blood as example. Haha…

After some time, I began to get restless again. So I picked up my hp and started to play ‘snake’. C’mon don’t you look down on this stupid + boring game, I’ve learnt something from there too!

Greedy= suicide situation [the snake coiled his head round]

Sleepy= “long piak” [unaware of the other part of the snake’s body]

Application on daily life…

If I’m greedy to swallow down every line of words in the textbook like xxx (name changed), I’ll be ended up like the snake, committing suicide; with my half awake brain, I’ll ended up studying nothing

Conclusion: Study how much your brain can store when you are fully awake. Don’t force yourself to swallow everything.

Okay, enough of all these… Hehe… Back to my books again… Oh no!

untitled

Loh Ziyen! I think I’ve the same disease as you d. The kinda-lazy-to-update-blog disease. What should I blog about this time round? I’ve really no idea yet.

+ - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + -

Thinking…

Squeezing my brain…

I still can’t think of any…

I guess is because of the music from the radio, is supposed to be “light and easy” but sunday night's music is like what mum says “heavy and not nice at all”. Haha…

+ - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + - + -

Is it too late for me to go round and get to know more about my classmates now, when we only have a week of lecture to go? (Now everyone seems to start skipping classes to study at home as most of the subjects’ syllabuses have finish teaching.) Goodness gracious, my A levels is coming to an end, and I still don’t even know some of their names! How bad can that be? We were classmates for the past 9 months. It’s too LATE…Anyway, to those whom I’ve known and managed to talk, joke, had fun with, great to know all of you and please be PROUD of yourself that at least you’ve ever talk to me before. Haha. There’s many more whom I’ve hardly/ never talk to.

“To continue A levels or to drop and change course?”

Frequent Asked Question or can be consider as “million-dollar question”…Dear fellow classmates or anybody, what do you think? Please leave your comments. =) I'm still considering although mum says change will be a better option! Btw, next year's syllabus is changing. The practical for chemistry is like double the one i'm doing this year, indirectly, is double the difficulty of the old one.

My year end planning…

- Visit to US for sister’s graduation; enjoy white Christmas in US. [I chose not to go cz I don’t want my butt to suffer from the 20++ hours flight with dunno how many hours of transit here and there and also the 10++ hours DRIVE from Pennsylvania to Chicago (I think), cz dad doesn’t want to go through all the hustles with the immigration and security (thnx to the nonsense ppl who have created so much trouble, even hand carry also have to put into see through bags), so cannot fly over to California, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. I cancelled the trip myself] =(

- Visit to KL aunt’s place when parents are away and brother is working. [ziyen, I guess you got to be my personal driver there and also my part time “bf” d, accompany me to go for some shopping spree k?] hehe

- Meet up with old friends like Newton and Jit Sun who are coming back to Malaysia for holidays. [Anybody else is coming back? will find one day to meet up with you all]

- Join outward bound again as course assistant [application is still pending]

- Pack my stuff ready to leave for INTI Nilai. [headache]

- Look for volunteer jobs in old folks home/ mt miriam hospital/ cheshire home/ sepastik etc... [say only, dunno whether i have the time or not...LoL]

- Burn didi's powerpoint clips and his photos for his birthday present... [he's soon a yr old!!]

What else do I have to do?
