sem break for jan 08

the best sem break i ever had... thanks dad n mum n bro... =)

back home the next day after finals...ran around in the city doing some bank stuff, air ticketing, license renewal etc...packed few pieces of clothes and off to aussie... =) bro told me the weather is hot during the day and cold during the night so i happily packed my skirts and shorts there...and you'll know what i wear in all the photos later...

saturday we went to ingolf for german sausages to give dad n bro their belated bday treat but dad signed his credit card..oops =)

sunday we went to mainland for the spring chicken...suppose to pay back for the dinner the night before but bro's gf paid...oops... =)

i paid for dinner! hee XD

we left home at 730pm...was kind off late as schedule but still in time...checked in all our bags sitting there waiting to go in and out of the sudden only i realized my purse left at home with 100 aussie dollars in there! =( dad rushed back to get for me and sent it back on time for me...phew..thnx dad! *big head prawn, the bf will say*

and yea we departed from penang at 9.20pm...SQ is always on time, no delays...so we reached changi airport at 10.40pm...roamed around and took some retarded looking photos before we went over to terminal 3 to get our connecting flight to perth at 1.15am...

it says "DEAR"...

so we boarded at 1am...browsed through the movie list and i found national treasure that i wanted to watch with the bf in msia before he left but he watched with his friends in ipoh...so i didnt get to watch...so with all my strong will power n determination i hung on through the whole movie and slept after that...

suddenly the silly stewardess came and woke me up for breakfast and it was...

local time: 430am!! =.="

mama mia!! i just got 1/2hr sleep... =( and after eating we're bout to land... >.< i slept in the airport

while waiting for uncle thomas... then we went for some pancakes, wraps and hashbrown, coffee breakfast in hungry jack's (aussie version of burger king)

went to uncle thom and aunty molly's house for tea...i was feeling so crappy after the whole night sacrificing my sleep watching movie...so foolish!!!

browsed the internet to look for cheap car rental with bro and at 11am we got our toyota corrolla hatch from bayswater in fremantle (another way of calling is freo)...walked down william street, went to the old round house and went to cicerello's for lunch...and i swear i won't be eating anymore fish n chips for the next few months...

then we went to some asian stall to pick up some sauces, korean instant noodles and stuff...aunty molly went to pick up her veggies and meat nearby...she cooked nice homecooked food... =) thank you!!!

then tse-ling jiejie (dad's friend's daughter) joined us for dinner and we followed her back...bro's migration baggages needs 2 cars to fit... =.="

45mins drive from freo to mandurah where tse-ling jiejie stays...unloaded the stuff from both the cars and refreshed ourselves...tea or coffee session... =)

the next day no plans cz bro said is better we rest...in the end we had

for lunch... =)

dinner we went to a chinese restaurant with uncle richard and family =) thanks aunty kay for the nice meal =D went over to their house for tea...played with allysha cards till around 11 and we left...11 is late for the aussies...only malaysians are unhealthy, they sleep late, eat heavy supper at the mamak stall...got back home and got ready for bed...lights off

the next day we went for the canal ride to see people's big houses...if lucky we get to see dolphins...too bad..not my luck...don't see any...if I've 3 million and buy a block up and build my own house i don't need luck..=) can see whenever i want to... then had subway at the foreshore... =)

went back and cook dinner... =D nice...

the next day went all the way down to Augusta...actually i don't really remember the map of western Australia yet...can only remember Augusta is right at the bottom of western Australia...before we reached Augusta we stopped in Margaret river...and to my expectations Margaret river is to see river!!! reached there and started asking where's the river...bro said no river is just the town >.<

but we managed to visit many factories, the diary farm, nuts and cereals, chocolate, wine brewing, jam and sauces...i had the best milkshake ever from the diary farm!! the smooth fresh milk with caramel syrup and caramel ice cream...slurpsss....i'm so in love with that milkshake!! i missed it after 2 days..=/then we moved on to all the other factories...we get to taste all the food they have there...we had our little lunch in all these factories...then we moved on to the town...we went into the fudge factory...nothing much there and then we went for kebab for lunch...surprisingly lamb kebab is cheaper than the other meat...in the end we ordered lamb and chicken kebab...*slurp slurp*

after lunch we continued our journey to the south...on the way there, i couldn't stand the moo moo by the roadside and fell alseep...when i woke up i was like omg!!! this place is just too picturesque!!! the scenic view of the waves hitting the rocks!!! the place is simply too beautiful!!! we paid 5 dollars (i think) and went in for the ground tour...the place is famous for its cape leeuwin lighthouse and the two oceans meet where the southern ocean meets the indian ocean...to me both looks the same one ocean...i just love the scenery there....picture perfect...awesome!!!

we left at 430pm, needs 2.5hours to be back in mandurah...bro was getting tired and noone can take over although it was right side driving...noone has an international licence except bro...so i have to keep feeding him doritos all the way back...

we ended the day quite early so that we can go out full force again the next day =)

the next day was ANZAC day, we went to freo to drop tse-ling jiejie there and also to shop at e-shed market..this place is another awesome shopping paradise!!! the fleece jacket sold there at 6.95dollars only!!! the keychain and stuff all below 5dollars...bought a bag and some keychains...and wanted to grab a jacket but no XS as S was a little too big for me...and we left to the wildlife park...ahhh so nice!!! kangas running around freely, roos having sunbathing, koalas sleeping and posing in front of the camera...there are many more animals but kangas n koalas are the main attraction to me!!! go Australia don't see Australia's trademark sounds stupid right??? =)

after that went over to jienyi jiejie's house for a while then we went to pick tse-ling jiejie up...and we had dinner in some cool place...the barrels of beer is just right at the bar and they just get fresh beer from the barrel...and because it was ANZAC day we saw many sailors..they look cool in their uniform ^^

then we went back home...rest a day the next day before we go full force for the next few days again... =)

on Sunday, we were suppose to go to the beach but it rained, so we had to change plans and so we went to the Hilary's...we went into the AQWA to see all kinds of marine animals...watched a seal performance =) i thought i videoed the whole performance but i didn't know i caught only 3 damn seconds of it only!! ahhh bout 20 mins holding my hand up with the video camera and get nothing...so sad...

then we went over to perth...met up with Duy, a vietnamese and we went over to King George's Park at around 6pm...the sky was getting dark and we cant get any nice photos there...sigh...wasted...we had a cup of coffee and some snacks at the restaurant there... =)

then when we got back to mandurah again was quite late...we had a simple dinner and we watch movie again... =)

the next day, we had to return the car we rented a week ago...ehh wait, a week ago means I'm in aussie for a week d!!! =( means going back soon...and yea we returned our car and all the remaining time in aussie will be on foot...NOOOOOOOO......from the car rental place we walked all the way to the fremantle prison tour...this time i videoed properly...i'm gonna gather all together to make a full video of my tour! hmmph!!! then we took the free bus to e-shed market as i wanted to buy the jacket!!! but it was close!! crap...no hope for cheap jackets d!!! then we took the train to Perth city...

Perth city is more like a place for people to stay... =) see more people there...went to northbridge also known as the Chinatown...we went into an Asian market and started shopping like crazy!!! in the end we brought a whole box of Korean noodles back to mandurah XD

after all the discussions over msn, i finally managed to ask hun hao to meet up for lunch the next day...maybe that's our last chance to meet up and wont be seeing each other again for the next few years, right buddy? this dude was my tennis kaki in penang... =) we even played on the lousiest inti penang court...ahha...before meeting him, we I managed to get the jackets for it was doubled the price..!!! i didnt care and bought!!! one for myself, one for the bf...see how angelic i am!! XD then we went over to the Swan bells...these bells gave out the beautiful sound and for the 1st time i never complain about the sound from bells...i used to say bells are annoying!!! haha... and there was where i met up with hun hao...good luck dude! hope you get a gf soon...the future mining engineer, anyone wants??? he'll be millionaire soon!!

then we left to subiaco to meet up with bro's agent to deal with his PR stuff...then we came back to mandurah just before tse-ling jiejie finish work...so we took the town bus to her work place and went home with her car!!! haha...no need to walk...sounds obvious i'm gonna put on weight right...yea, no doubt!! i've put on 3+kg i think...all the chocolates, ice creams, doritos etc...can kinda imagine my unhelathy lifestyle right =)

that was a tuesday...started to do some little packing up =( going back!!

wednesday comes...nothing much to do without a car so we walked all the way to mandurah's centro...is like 25 mins walk...just because everybody is complaining i've been lazy to walk so we walk all the way there...we went to 3/4 hypermarkets!!! spend all our bucks!!! ^^ put everything into our shopping bags and walked all the way back...

packed more stuff into the bags already!!! =( NOOOOOOOO...holidays ending!!!

and so we came to our last day in aussie...we again walked all the way to foreshore...did more shoppings!! bro managed to get a suit which is so nice for only 40 dollars, how to not tell me to persuade my bro to buy right??? haha

he bought!!! wee.... XD

grab some multivits and lotion from the pharmacy there and we went for another ice cream...how to not have my ice creams when it is so nice?!?!

after dinner, load our stuff into the car and travelled for an hour to reach perth international airport, the airport i slept, rmb?! haha...checked in our baggages and went in to have a cup of coffee cz tse-ling jiejie have to work the next day...my last time spending aussie bucks is at the airport!!

then we board at 12+...again i went searching for the movie booklet...that booklet is just such a killer k!!! once again i didnt sleep much...2 hours only...we reach singapore d...i totally forgot it was 2nd may!! i kept remebering it was 1st of may...so i didnt check my results...i on my hp to text dad that we r in changi and asked him to pick us up from airport at 930, suddenly another text came in...it was kim shun...results were out...i was so freaking nervous at this point...i so wanted to take my own pc out to check as the 4 pc were occupied!!! but i waited for a while...then 2 pc were vacant...dashed to the pc and log into eramis...and i got my stupid results...sat back down and wait to baord...isshh...mood spoiler!!! cheh!!!

we left changi at 8.05 reach penang at 9.30...by the time we get our baggages it was 10!! dad went into the office...we went home...i slept from 11-3 skipping breakfast and lunch..."jetlag" haha....

and so my holidays end by resting another 2 days in penang...and back to inti...where i am now...still the same old inti with the most sickening internet service we have...i can't upload any more photos other than the front ones where i did that at home...i used to say streamyx is lousy and now i couldnt complain more about streamyx cz EBB is worse....

anyway since i've managed to upload the photos in facebook, just link it here so that you can have a peep at the photos i took!! =) 500+ altogether for my whole semester break but only uploaded 160... =)

the moral of the story, don't need many shorts to go for holidays where fall/winter is coming! waste of space and energy to drag... =) i didn't get to wear my skirts and shorts...i was wearing jeans when i'm out and my sleeping pants when i'm in the house... =.="
