awesome weekend

i had the best friday yesterday...

and i just had the best saturday now!!

thanks to christophe because it was his birthday :)

and yessss i love my lab team members...

we're multinational and we have good range of age group....

Professor- Gregor (40, Germany)

Post-doc- Dave (32, Italy)

PhD- Christophe (25, Portugal)

Undergrads- Travis (27, US), Julie (US), Felipa (21, Portugal, left), Ines (21, Portugal, leaving) and I (20, Malaysia)

so we went downtown to celebrate Christophe's 1/4 century old birthday....

and the weather was perfect to go out...

so i put on my fall jacket, and smartly with heels... :)

we went to Yia Yia's for pizza and a pitch of BOULEVARD UNFILTERED WHEAT BEER...

we actually have to show our IDs to get a glass if we want to drink...so christophe, ines and travis were able to get a glass except me...damn it!! i'm just few days away!!!! fine

then ines went to get a glass of water...she finished the glass of water and joined us with the beer...so yea, that's how i got my share and drink it ILLEGALLY...if the cops were to come, i wont be blogging now...i'll be at the lock up!! or probably this post will be how i end up in lincoln lock up....hahaha

so yea we had a pitch and dave came...we ordered another pitch....i had 3-4 glasses(2/3 full) i think... :) awesome

then they wanted to go to the next bar/pub but there's an underage MINOR who is sadly me!!! so we ended up in haymarket for a cup of coffee...

and we walked for 6 streets from Yia Yia's to haymarket...crapppppppp....to make it more crappy, i was in heels and the thinnest jacket among them, remember? okay i wasnt freezing till i shiver which is such a miracle because normally i would have shiver like crazy....

so had a chai in the mills...then went over to the other pub next door which they dont require IDs as long as i dont order and drink, to meet up with the other portuguese but ended up kena ffk....

just right before we left...there's this group of americans (i assume) was drunk...the bar tender asked them to leave, they left and came back...repeated for 5 times and if they couldnt walk properly, the pub has the responsibility of ... i dunno d... lolzzz

so they called the cops!!!

AND 3 POLICE CARS CAME.... o.o

they handcuffed one of them and took the fellow back to the lock up....damn dramatic....

then we left cz is freaking 1am....

but i really had fun with them...they are just so awesome....it's like my birthday!!!!!!! and yea they just cant wait for my birthday in 2 weeks time and bring me out again, this time LEGALLY... :)

total spent, 2.50 for my chai :)

oh ya since travis is in military and he has guns, we would probably have a hunting trip!!!!

omg coolness!!! i cant waittttttttttttttttttt....
